Neiman became the latest Eddie Woods training grad to earn black type with his 1 ½-length win in the $50,000 Budweiser S. June 23 at Emerald Downs.

The 4-year-old, who was making his first stakes start, was prominent throughout the six-furlong sprint. After an early three-way battle for the lead, Neiman and Papa’s Golden Boy separated themselves from the field. Neiman wrestled the lead away from his foe with a furlong to run, then drew off late to stop the timer in a very good 1:07.98 on a fast main track.

Neiman is owned by the partnership of Mike Abraham, Leslie Amestoy and Jean Pierre Amestoy, Jr. With four wins in six starts, the son of Munnings has earned $96,275.

The winner was bred in Kentucky by Three Lyons Racing & HTH Enterprises.
