Winner of the Mrs. Revere S. (G2) last autumn at Churchill Downs, Nay Lady Nay has won four of seven lifetime starts for First Row Partners and Hidden Brook Farm. Sold by Eddie Woods for $210,000 at the 2018 OBS March 2-year-olds sale, Nay Lady Nay has now earned $356,180.

Nay Lady Nay got a very well-timed ride from Paco Lopez. Tucked along the fence in third most of the way, Lopez found an opening in upper stretch, and spurring his mount on, shot through the gap to win by a half-length in 1:46.21 for the 1 1/8-miles on the firm turf.

“They were going pretty fast up front so I wasn't really worried when the two [frontrunners] looked like they were getting away,” said Lopez. “She responded very well when I asked her. She's a nice filly. She really has a strong finish. I just had to find the room for her in the stretch. Once I did she was fine.”

The winner was bred by Stephen Sullivan and is a full sister to multiple graded winner Arizona (IRE).
